Dear C.P.I.O. Members:
We are entering this new year of 2009 and your C. P. I. O. Board is working towards making this a very successful year for our Organization.
When I became President, I realized that there was going to be a long road ahead of our organization in order to become much more efficient when it came to the vehicle needed to communicate with our members. Thus the Board focused on the web site to enable the flow of information to be more readily available and accessible. With areas developed, we are now able to access the “Members Only” section that contains secured information. This is important as we continue to struggle with Privacy Issues, Rulings and New Training through the Registrar’s office. As a board, we also believed that the focus of advertising those who are members was just as important due to the current legislation. The continued hours of building this Web Site will be an accomplishment that has made the Board a team working together to assist all our members with communications, advertising and information.
Our current focus on the website will allow our Organization to have an excellent tool for our clients to find us, along with potential new clients. The new Web Site directly attributed to Mr. John Bradley and his long countless number of volunteer hours will enable our organization to be one step beyond others in our field. As our board is a group that volunteers, this web site will alleviate many man hours of inputting information. We will not only be able to input our own information about our companies, we will be able to change it when the profile, logo or company names change. There is a secured on line “members only” section which will enable you to view confidential documents that are directly related to our field. This web site will be handed to the next Board as a complete package allowing for continued success. Although we have had a few hick-ups, these will be resolved at our AGM or within the next couple of weeks.
Further to this, the web site will become much more efficient as our members learn to utilize the exceptional tools and advertising that will be available through “Find A PI”. Please understand this has been a great undertaking by your Board and we would appreciate any volunteers that have articles of interest to forward them to us via the email.
As the President, I would like to thank the entire board for assisting greatly in progressively moving forward into the future of the CPIO. I would like to Thank the Board for their continued support. For your endless work, a special thank you to John Bradley for building this web site and fielding most of the concerns of our members. Also thanks to Todd Hunt for joining our team and helping our organization grow and to become more successful. I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Melanie Earle for volunteering to assist us with populating the website with articles.
In Closing, we are always looking for volunteers!!!! So please if you would like assist with the Annual Golf Tournament dedicated to Charlie Robb or with populating our site with articles, our Board would be very grateful.
