  1. Do I have to be a licensed private investigator to join the CPIO?
    No, not at all. While the CPIO is primarily geared towards the association of licensed private investigators, the CPIO does provide for several classes of memberships.

  2. Can a student become a member of the CPIO?
    Yes they can. Any person enrolled in a program relevant to private investigation at a recognized educational institution who has met the requirements of membership, and who is not otherwise eligible for membership, and who has been approved by the Board. You are also required to submit proof of enrollment.
